Weather Blog: Out Like A Cranky Lamb

By Chris Shaffer, WCCO-TV

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO)
-- March won't go out like a lion this year.

This isn't a whopper of a storm system, but it won't be as quiet as the past week.

We racked up seven consecutive dry days with highs slowly climbing up to 44 degrees on Wednesday.

Our temps will stay in the 40s the next few days, but our dry run is over.

Expect rain showers in the Twin Cities with a chance of snow across northern Minnesota Thursday.

Folks up north may see a sloppy inch or two, with some flakes mixing in late around central Minnesota. It will be breezy Friday with a northwest wind of 10 to 20 mph.

Saturday looks great with some sunshine and a high near 48 degrees.

The second storm arrives Sunday with another shot of rain turning to snow.
