MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police are searching for a person involved in some type of violent crime in Bethel, Minn.

Kyle Blum of Anoka County Dispatch says emergency crews are searching the neighborhood around 1310 233rd Ave. in the town.

Officers have not released many details, but Blum said a man was injured and an ambulance was called to a residence around 2:40 p.m.

The injured man was bleeding, but it doesn’t appear his injuries are life threatening, said Blum. He also said he believed the injury was not caused by gunfire.

Police expect to release more details later.
