Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Train

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- Police say a train hit and seriously injured a 34-year-old man early Sunday morning in St. Paul.

St. Paul Police spokesman John Keating said officers responded to the area around 1 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of North Oxford Street and Jessamine Avenue West, where they found the man who suffered serious injuries.

Keating said Jason Moreau was apparently walking along the railroad tracks when he was struck by the passing train, however Keating said details of the accident are not clear.

He was transported to Regions Hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
