Woman Dies In Fire In St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Minn. (AP) -- One woman is dead after a fire in a mobile home in St. Joseph.

St. Joseph Fire Chief Jeff Taufen says the fire department was called to the mobile home early Saturday after a neighbor reported seeing flames.

The woman was the only person at the home. She was found inside after firefighters put out the blaze. Her name hasn't been released pending notification of family members.

The home is estimated to be a total loss. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
