MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – If you recently purchased a Gopher 5 ticket, check your numbers again.
The Minnesota State Lottery says a Gopher 5 ticket worth more than half a million dollars was sold in Washington County — and has not been claimed.
The ticket was purchased for the drawing on April 30, 2010 and is worth $586,214. The ticket holder has until 5 p.m. on May 2 to claim their prize.
The winning Gopher 5 numbers that were drawn on April 30 are 33-34-38-41-44. The ticket holder that correctly chose those numbers should immediately sign the back of the ticket and call the Lottery’s Public Relations office at (651) 635-8271.
If the prize goes unclaimed, the money will go to the state’s general fund, which helps pay for state services like education, transportation and public safety.
The odds of matching all five Gopher 5 numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 1.5 million.
