MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The toughest ticket in the sporting world this year in Minnesota maybe this Thursday at the Xcel Energy Center for the Frozen Four with University of Minnesota-Duluth and University of North Dakota playing back to back, scalpers have ranged from $350 to $500 for one ticket to see both teams play.

Wayzata’s Mario Lucia, the son of Gopher men’s hockey head coach Don Lucia will play in the USHL next season for a team to be determined.

Hockey people will tell you Edina grad and Notre Dame star Anders Lee will probably play through his sophomore season then embark on a bright future in professional hockey.

The Timberwolves will get some money from other NBA teams to fill the gap of about $15 million in losses.

Kris Humphries is not playing against the Timberwolves because of a heel injury. He is averaging a double-double for New Jersey and drawing rave reviews from coaches.

“He’s having a terrific year. He plays very, very hard, very physical. He throws his body around. He’s accepted the role that they have for him there. He’s playing at a very high level,” said Timberwolves head coach Kurt Rambis.
