MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police are investigating a pair of overnight stabbings after an apparent fight at a Minneapolis gas station.

The incident happened at about 11:15 p.m. Monday at the SuperAmerica on the 5100 block of 34th Avenue South.

Police said they responded to a report of two men fighting with knives either in or near the gas station parking lot.

Officers found a man with cuts to his face. He was questioned and taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

A bit later, police got a call from a resident nearby of another person stabbed. He, too, was taken to HCMC. Police said he was in critical condition.
