MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Tuesday was the nicest day we will have this week. It is going to cool down, get windy and we might even see some snow.

Wednesday looks fair. We will have more clouds with a chance of sprinkles. Expect a near average high of 57 degrees.

The first thing you will notice Thursday is the wind picking up from the northeast 10-20 mph. It will also be cooler with highs in the 40s. The storm arrives here late bringing a cold rain.

Friday is no better. It will be even cooler and windy with a chance of the rain turning to snow as we continue to cool.

It moves out Saturday and if there is any snow, it will quickly melt by Sunday.

Remember we average 3.1 inches of snow in the month of April. It just feels worse this year after the winter we endured.
