Winter Returns Friday Night, Saturday Morning
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- In what is hopefully winter's final gasp, parts of Minnesota are seeing snow Friday night and will into Saturday morning.
A rain/snow mixture began falling in the metro area shortly before 9 p.m. On Saturday morning, flurries are expected, according to WCCO-TV meteorologist Mike Fairbourne.
Fairbourne expects maybe an inch of snow, but it will not stay on the ground for too long.
Northern Minnesota, west of Duluth, may see more snow accumulation.
