Say It Isn't Snow!

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Easter comes late this year and yet I'm talking about snow.

We need 3.6 inches to pull into third for the snowiest winter in history. I don't think we will see that, but I do think your yard will look different Wednesday morning.

Expect a shot of rain late Tuesday before the cold air rides in on the northeast winds and changes the rain over to snow. Southeastern Minnesota still has the best shot of seeing four or more inches of snow. I think the greatest snow totals will come from western Wisconsin.

The snow will stick in yards while spotty accumulation is possible on bridge decks and sidewalks. The heaviest snow will fall Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, but as we head toward the weekend, the weather improves.
