Minnesota Lynx Sign Amber Harris

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Lynx announced Wednesday the team has signed No. 4 overall draft choice Amber Harris.

In signing, Harris joins No. 1 overall draft choice Maya Moore and former St. Paul Central standout Angel Robinson as 2011 WNBA Draft picks to sign with the Lynx. Harris, who is listed at 6 feet, 5 inches tall, was drafted out of Xavier University in Ohio.

The Minnesota Lynx hit the court for the first time in a pre-season game at noon on May 24 against the Indiana Fever at Concordia University-St. Paul. Tickets for the game can be purchased by going to Ticketmaster's web site, or calling (612) 673-8400.

The Lynx open the regular season June 5, hosting the Los Angeles Sparks at 2:30 p.m. at the Target Center.
