FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Former Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress will have a say in the NFL draft this weekend.
Childress won’t be making decisions this time, of course, but he will be offering his analysis — on the website for CBS Sports.
Childress will join anchor Jason Horowitz and former NFL players Dan Fouts and Randy Cross on a show that will be streamed live online. CBSSports.com made the announcement on Monday.
Childress was fired last November, more than halfway into his fifth season in charge of the Vikings. Leslie Frazier has taken his place, and Frazier will join vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman in overseeing the team’s nine draft picks this week. The Vikings have the 12th pick in the first round.
