Driver Dies In Wrong-Way Crash

CARLTON, Minn. (WCCO) — A driver was killed in a wrong-way crash in Carlton County late Tuesday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The patrol website hasn’t released many details yet, but they reported a person driving a 2005 Mercury Montego was going in the wrong direction on Highway 210 near Schmitz Road in Carlton, Minn.

The car was struck head-on by another vehicle just before midnight.

The State Patrol didn’t identify either driver involved in the crash.

    Drunk drivers always=.Late night driving, wrong way..Please do not Drink and Drive..innocent people are being killed in huge numbers by drunk drivers

    stop talking on the phone (or texting) and maybe you’d notice you are driving the wrong way because cars are coming right at you!! wake up people – drivbing takes a lot of paying attention to what you are doing – not multi-tasking with the phone in hand!!
