GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers have plans for renovating Lambeau Field.

The team says it hopes to alleviate crowding at the gates by building an additional entrance on the north side of the stadium. It’ll serve club and suite ticket holders and should be ready for the 2012 season.

For the upcoming season, the Packers will install a new sound system. Packers marketing and sales vice president Tim Connolly says it will be a “distributed” sound system with speakers all over the stadium. The team will wait on installing new video boards. WLUK-TV says the Packers plan to add those when it builds the new entrance.
