Vikings Take OT Love In 6th Round

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Vikings have taken Arkansas offensive tackle DeMarcus Love in the sixth round of the NFL draft.

Love was a first-team All-SEC pick last season for the Razorbacks. It was the first of four sixth-round picks for the Vikings after they traded their second fifth-rounder to Cleveland.

The Vikings started Saturday by taking Iowa defensive tackle Christian Ballard in the fourth round and took Utah cornerback Brandon Burton in the fifth round and traded their second fifth-round pick to Cleveland.

The Vikings took quarterback Christian Ponder in the first round on Thursday and Notre Dame tight end Kyle Rudolph in the second round on Friday. They did not have a third-round pick because they traded it to New England for Randy Moss.

The Vikings also have two picks in the seventh round.
