MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar is making her way through northwestern Minnesota, dishing out advice to graduates and getting input from area residents who have battled annual floods.

Klobuchar was lined up to give the Concordia College commencement address on Sunday. Her office says she planned to structure her remarks around a theme of shared purpose, something on display during repeated natural disasters in the region.

Her Monday plan is to meet with local officials and residents in Oslo and East Grand Forks about flooding issues.

Klobuchar is building toward a 2012 re-election campaign.

    Amy, we are so blessed to have you as our senator from Minnesota. Like your father you are so well read up on all the issues and always try to see & hear both sides of any issue, this we respect in Minnesota. Wishing you the best.

    1. DR says:

      I agree with you Shirley, Amy has already achieved many good things for the State of Minnesota. She also investigated the lead in toys and various other questionable practices of big business that no one else in government wanted to do. She should think about running for President.

  2. Joey Miller says:

    Shirley, Amy is the worst Senator in American history. We need to send Amy back to her little hutch in Minnesota and not allow her a second term. She has voted most the time with Democrats and doesn’t have enough gull to go against the President. Stimulus fail, ObamaCare fail. What is next Amy? As a college student, I know better then to vote this crazy Washington spender back into office! Hope others have enough sense.

    1. Cache says:

      Right on…nice to see a Minnesotan who can think. Kooky, along with Freaky Franken and Droopy Dayton are in the hip pocket of Obumbler…none have had a original thought in their political life…all only vote the party line…against the taxpayer…no more thuggish behavior can be tolerated from these gangsters. Vote out all these bums out..relegate all to the ash heap of history!!

    2. Swamp Rat says:

      You are full of old beans!!! At least Klobuchar is doing something for the state and country with the chutzpah to back it up. Don’t think you can do better!!

    3. Swamp Rat says:

      As staed to other politcal ersatz pundits and soothsayers—“You are full of beans!!” At least she is trying to do something constructive for her constituents!

      If you can do better run for office! But, until you have something significant &/or concrete to pronounce don’t count on my vote!!!

  3. Bruce says:

    Joey and Cache;

    I totally agree with both of you! She is just a robot tool for the DemocRAT party, living off of her dad’s name!

    1. Swamp Rat says:

      Read previous aforementioned replies. You must be eating the same beans!!!

      1. Cache says:

        @swamp rat

        Stop drinking the swamp water…it is atrophying you thinking processes!

  4. dmc says:

    Joey and Cache and Bruce for agreeing. It is obvious that you can think of nothing on your own but can only spew the sound bites from those who can DO nothing but SCREAM out how anyone other than them is WRONG. Your lack of specifics is a glaring omission.

    Amy is thoughtful, insightful and does her homework. She works hard on behalf of all of us – she did as County Attorney and she continues as our Senator. Agree with her all the time or not – you cannot fault her work for all of Minnesota families and taxpayers,

    I would highly suggest that until you are capabile of independent thought devoid of name calling – you go twitter elsewhere.

      Wonderful comment. It’s about time we see someone giving an intelligent forthright response to the nitwits who comment on these threads. Thanks.

    2. Cache says:

      Open you ears and your closed…mind…One can’t be anymore specific…this political hack voted for every BumbocRAT and Obumbler program. When she was a Prosecuting attorney in the Cities she was a one woman crime wave…siding with criminals and turning them loose. 5 years auto jail time demanded by state law for using a gun in a crime and this loser hack would plea bargain the gun out…they would usually walk or get just slap on the wrist! Get over yourself and the hooey this hack spews!
