Stabbing As 2 Bachelor Parties Brawl
NEW GERMANY, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 21-year-old man was arrested after two groups holding pre-wedding parties were involved in a bar fight early Sunday morning.
The incident happened in New Germany, Minn.
Carver County authorities said two separate bachelor parties were arguing. A woman in one of the parties was shoved by a man in the other group, sparking several brawls.
One person was stabbed in the melee, according to the Carver County Sheriff's Office. A knife was recovered from the scene.
Two people were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in the aftermath, though neither sustained life-threatening injuries.
Phillip James Turner was arrested and booked at Carver County Jail. He is being held on second-degree assault.
