rj: If you read the penultimate paragraph, it is stated that the pick-up driver was cited. Other accounts of this accident tell us that the pick-up driver ran a red light. In my experience, Metro Transit has provided reliable and safe transportation in both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul as well as the suburbs.

People, please get a grip. Of all drivers out there on the roads, Metro Transit Bus Drivers get the most flack, yet, have the most responsibility. Nobody talks about how Southwest, Laidlaw, Fed-X, UPS, etc. drives. Driving is a shared responsibility by Everyone. For all those people who are negatively speaking about Metro Transit Bus Drivers… for 1 hour ,out on a bus route, put your feet in their shoes, your butt in their seat & your time for their dime… then come back an tell me wat your opinion is then. And as far as running red lights, who doesnt?
