1 Arrested In Connection With Frogtown Murder

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death that happened in the Frogtown Neighborhood of St. Paul Wednesday.

Police said Joshua Bystrom, 21, was taken in to custody Friday afternoon and is facing charges related to death of Trent Crumble.

Crumble, 24, of St. Paul was shot and killed around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was walking in the parking lot of a business in the 600 block of Dale St. when he was shot in the torso.

An ambulance brought him to Regions Hospital but he died.

Police are continuing to investigate and think more people may have more information about the shooting. Investigators are trying to piece together what led up to the shooting because they don't believe it was random.

St. Paul Police divers searched for evidence in Como Lake Friday afternoon and will continue through the evening.
