Bloomington Fire Displaces Family Of 7

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Red Cross is helping a family in Bloomington after their home was destroyed by fire  early Friday morning.

The Twin Cities Chapter of the American Red Cross said the fire happened at a single-family home in the 9700 block of Oakland Ave. South.

Two adults and five children are affected. The Red Cross says they are  providing them with shelter, clothing, food, and emotional support.

It is not clear at this time what caused the fire.
