MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – The Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis has extended the run of the popular musical “Annie” by an extra week — so you’ll still have time to see it “Tomorrow.”

“Annie” opened April 15. The show will now run through June 19.

The show is based on the “Little Orphan Annie” cartoon strip and features the songs “Tomorrow” and “It’s a Hard Knock Life.”

Seven of the show’s 10 youth actors who play Annie and her orphan pals were chosen from an open casting call at the Mall of America last October.
