Police Horse Crashes Into Cafe Window
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- A police horse spooked by some construction equipment was injured when it shattered a front window at a St. Paul coffee shop.
Police say no one in the Midway Rendezvous Coffee shop, or the officer on the horse, was hurt. Police spokesman John Keating says the horse, Black Jack, suffered cuts and was brought to the University of Minnesota Equine Center for treatment.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the window shattered Tuesday was 8 by 10 feet.
