After Long, Cruel Winter, 80s Back In The Forecast

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- No, your eyes do not deceive you. This week's forecast calls for highs in the 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday will be cloudy in the morning but warm, with highs in the low 80s and just a 20-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday evening. When the sun peaks out Tuesday afternoon, there's a good chance we'll even see temps in the mid-80s and up.

Wednesday looks to be a little more damp with a 40-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day and a 50-percent chance of rain in the evening. Still, those temps will hover right around 80 degrees.

The rest of the week won't be quite as hot as temperatures fall back to the 70s and below. The rain won't clear out of the forecast until maybe Saturday.

Our average high for this time of year is more like 68 degrees. So get out there and enjoy it while it lasts, Minnesota!
