NEW PRAGUE, Minn. (WCCO) – One person died and another was critically injured in a motorcycle accident just after noon Tuesday near New Prague, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at Highway 19 and 11th Ave. at about 12:38 p.m. When they arrived, a 2010 Harley Davidson Trike had lost control in a round-a-bout and hit a raised curb with its left rear tire and steer tire.
The force of the crash threw a female passenger off the trike, and she was killed after colliding with a street sign. The male driver was found trapped underneath the trike in the center of the round-a-bout.
No updates are currently available on the man’s condition, and the female has not yet been identified. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
