NEW PRAGUE, Minn. (WCCO) – One person died and another was critically injured in a motorcycle accident just after noon Tuesday near New Prague, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at Highway 19 and 11^th Ave. at about 12:38 p.m. When they arrived, a 2010 Harley Davidson Trike had lost control in a round-a-bout and hit a raised curb with its left rear tire and steer tire.

The force of the crash threw a female passenger off the trike, and she was killed after colliding with a street sign. The male driver was found trapped underneath the trike in the center of the round-a-bout.

No updates are currently available on the man’s condition, and the female has not yet been identified. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
