The Good Life For Less: Free Orchestra Hall Concerts

By Alison Lorge, WCCO

Once again the sound of music can be free for your family at Orchestra Hall this summer.

You can sign up now to win tickets to a Minnesota Orchestra performance on July 3, courtesy of Target. Registration is from now through May 18.

The concert, called “Celebrate America!” will have music that many kids will recognize plus has a patriotic feel. Click here to see the set list.

And don’t worry, if you don’t win tickets to this performance, Target sponsors other free concerts throughout the 2011-2012 season.

But don’t forget about Sommerfest at Orchestra Hall, which features three weeks of free shows (July 8-July 23)  just outside the building at Peavey Plaza. Here is the schedule for those free concerts.

If you know of any other deals or free concerts, share them with other ‘Good Lifers’ in the comment section. You can also text WCCODEALS to 84816 for a ‘deals of the week’ reminder.
