First thing my husband noticed, watching this last night was that MIke’s fishing rod was upside down. Apparently he doesn’t fish much and the guide wasn’t very observant.

The next time you do a fishing program, you may want to ask a pro for some how-to on the proper way to hold an open faced rod and reel. Your program this evening on fishing was good, interesting, and quite humorous. Especially when I, as a fisherman, watched how you were holding your rod and reel. The reel on an open faced reel like yours, goes on the bottom, not the top. You wind from the left hand side forward, you don’t want to reel backwards, as you were doing. Unless you were doing this for humor it didn’t look like you’d probably done much fishing. Keep up the good work. I always enjoy watching WCCO.
