Woman Arrested In Chaska Bar Robbery

CHASKA, Minn. (WCCO) — A 44-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with the May 11 robbery of a Chaska bar.

Roberta Ann Michel was taken into custody by the Carver County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday morning at her home in Norwood-Young America, authorities said.

Michel is accused of robbing Kelley’s bar, located in the 500 block of Chestnut Street, at gunpoint at about 1:46 a.m. on May 11. She got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Authorities said several pieces of evidence, including the gun they think was used in the robbery, were taken into custody at the time of Michel’s arrest.

Michel is currently being held in the Carver County Jail pending criminal charges.

there is no excuse for what she did and she was on drugs, trust me. she could afford everything if she didnt do drugs and nothing is worth threatening 2 peoples lives. i know she didnt shoot the gun but she was serious, and it is something that i will never forget and to come on here and try to make excuses for a woman who walked in and pulled a gun out on 2 innocent people is honestly disgusting. i could have gone my whole life without a crackhead pointing a gun at me and i am sure the bartendeer could have gone without it too! she was scary and i understancd at least she didnt shoot us not a big deal but for some reasons the what ifs still go through my mind. its nice that u think about the selfish one wiuth the guns but not the people it affected.

Ummm, yeah – STFU with sadness about the perp. See how “sad” you feel for this a-wipe when you got her .45 pointed right at your nut – or blowing your nut all over the wall behind you. Yeah, “Awwwwwwww….”, I’m feeling real sad here. Wake up to the real issue already.
