TOWNSHIP OF ARCADIA, Wis. (AP) – Authorities in west-central Wisconsin say an accident between a vehicle and a farm tractor has left a Wisconsin man dead and a Minnesota woman injured.

The Trempealeau County sheriff’s department says a 16-year-old Arcadia boy was driving a tractor Sunday afternoon that was pulling a haybine, a large piece of farm equipment.

Deputies say a car driven by 59-year-old Gary Wolfe crossed the center line and collided with the haybine. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger was Sandra Johnson of Winona, Minn. She was airlifted from the scene and taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The tractor driver was apparently uninjured but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
