BABBITT, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a fishing boat collided with a houseboat in northern Lake County, injuring two people.

The sheriff’s office says the collision happened Sunday on Birch Lake.

Deputies say one passenger in the fishing boat was airlifted to a hospital, and the other was treated and released.

A Duluth News Tribune report says no one on the houseboat was hurt.

Thanks for your ignorant comment “to [spelled “too”] drunk to boat”. Neither the passenger or operator of the fishing boat was drunk. This was an accident. Learn your facts before such insensitive remarks.
