LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Some aprons were created for show. Others were created with advertisements on them. And even others to keep cooks clean while working.
A Little Falls museum is featuring an exhibit starting Sunday called “Aprons: Body Armour or Bling.”
The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum’s exhibit features a variety of aprons from the museum’s collection and those on loan from community members.
Museum manager Mary Warner says the museum decided to feature aprons after seeing a resurgence of the items in stores.
Museum director Jan Warner tells the St. Cloud Times she hopes the exhibit teaches visitors about the apron’s versatility.
