Wisconsin Liquor Store Owners React To Proposed Bill

HUDSON, Wis. (WCCO) -- A Wisconsin lawmaker is proposing a bill that would allow retailers to see liquor at 6 o'clock in the morning.

Some law enforcement officials are afraid it could lead to an increase in alcohol abuse.

However, some liquor sale owners and managers don't think it will make much difference.

Kelli Moore manages Casanova Liquors in Hudson.

"I think in order to pay someone to open the doors and pay someone to turn on the lights, it's not going to be worth it in revenue to stay open the extra hours," she said.
