MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two men who pleaded guilty back in March for being involved with a series of burglaries and arsons that destroyed cabins in more than three Minnesota counties back in 2008 were sentenced on Tuesday in Pine County District Court.

Christian Eichert will spend more than 46 years in prison on eight counts of burglary and arson. Brandon Lind will spend more than 39 years in prison on seven counts of burglary and arson.

Eichert pleaded guilty to five felony counts of arson and three felony counts of burglary at a court appearance in March. Lind pleaded guilty to five felony arson counts and two felony burglary counts at the same court hearing. They were each charged in September of 2010.

The two were accused of burglarizing and setting fire to at least 10 cabins in Pine County. The fires caused more than $1 million in damage.
