1 Killed In Rollover Crash Near Danube, Minn.

DANUBE (WCCO) -- One person is dead after a rollover crash six miles north of Danube, Minn., according to the Renville County Sheriff's Office.

At 11:40 a.m. Thursday morning, authorities received a report of a one vehicle roll over. The crash occurred on County Road 1 at approximately one-quarter mile north of 890th Avenue.

After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the victim's 1989 Ford Tempo was traveling northbound when it rolled into the south ditch. The victim, who was the only occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification.

The crash is being investigated.
