Man Arrested For Breaking Into St. Cloud Museum
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – St. Cloud Police arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with an attempted burglary early Saturday morning at the Stearns County History Museum.
Authorities responded to an alarm at about 2:38 a.m. When they arrived, they spotted John Thomas Ryan running from the scene. They ran after him and arrested him.
Other officers on the scene found that a door to the museum had been propped open and a cash register had been broken into along with a donation bin. The bin was knocked over and had change taken from it, police said.
Ryan was taken to the Stearns County Jail and was charged with third-degree burglary.
