Body Found At Minnehaha Park In Mpls. Identified

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Authorities are investigating the death of a St. Paul man whose body was found in Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said in a statement Sunday that 53-year-old William John Larson was found dead Saturday morning. His body was found near the Mississippi River, in a steep area where Minnehaha Falls joins the river.

Investigators haven't determined how or when the man died. A report from the medical examiner indicates Larson was injured and died at the same location.
