MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – We have been bone dry in the Twin Cities on nine of our 13 June days.
We’ve fallen 1.5 inches below average for rain this month, but we look to gain some puddles by Thursday.
We should start out dry on Tuesday with highs in the low to mid 70s. The wind will blow from the southeast in the 10-15 mph range before the showers arrive later in the day. There could be a few isolated thunderstorms in the mix, but most will receive a good soaking of rain overnight and throughout the day on Wednesday.
It will be cooler with the clouds and rain, but a nice warm-up begins on Thursday.
By the weekend we should be back in the 80s with fairly humid conditions persisting into next week.
