Vikings To Make Camp Site Call By July 18

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Vikings have told Minnesota State University, Mankato, they plan to decide where to hold training camp by July 18.

Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier says Tuesday the choice is to train in Mankato as usual if the NFL lockout has been lifted.

But he says if the work stoppage continues the team will hold a shortened camp at Vikings headquarters in Eden Prairie.

Frazier says if the lockout ends and all goes according to plan, the Vikings will report to training camp in Mankato on July 31.
