Kahn On Rambis: ‘We’re In A Process’

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Timberwolves President David Kahn says he asked Kurt Rambis to write a report about the changes he would make as coach if he comes back for a third season as head coach.

Kahn says he met with Rambis for four hours on Thursday night and planned to meet with him again Friday to discuss the report that Rambis turned in last week.

Kahn says no decision has been made yet and he did not provide a timetable for making one.

Rambis has two years left on a four-year contract he signed in 2009. He is 32-132 in two seasons on Minnesota’s bench.

where’s your report Kahn? Rambis is not the sole reason this ship has become the Titanic. You are the moron who drafted 15 PG’s in one draft, then hired a coach who runs an offense not focused on a PG.

Actually, he only drafted 3 in one draft and one of them was a pick that we did FOR Denver via a trade. We picked Rubio and Flynn back to back. I assume he picked Flynn because he wasn’t sure on Rubio’s status. I’m not a big fan of Kahn but at least get your facts straight and quit exaggerating. Besides, I’ve told you a million times to stop exaggerating!!!

  • Keeping it real in Minnesota

***I hear Crickets***………………..and the only process Glen Taylor needs, is to fire both Kahn & Rambis, and every other hasben player on the team……the rest of the players went to to teams that made it to the playoffs, and two got the chance to ride Dirks coatails to a 2011 championship ring……..I have seen this movie before…..back in 1994, and 1995…..then Flip came along and got KG out of high school and made the team a REAL contender…..there are coaches & GM’s available that could turn this sad franchise around…….so maybe Taylor and his partners could ponie up, and do the right thing……and rubio will be a great bargaining tool at best.
