Weather Blog: A Break

Our Sunday will feature lots of clouds, with some peeks of sun at times in the afternoon/early evening. Our sunset isn't until 9:02 p.m. this time of year … in late December it sets around 4:30 p.m.

Enjoy this break in the rain. A low-pressure system develops to our southwest late Sunday, then moves slowly eastward on Monday and Tuesday. The result will be showers and thunderstorms at times Monday into Wednesday. The best chance of severe thunderstorms will tend to be late Monday into Tuesday night, especially over southern MN and central MN into southern WI.
