MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A man was found dead in a swimming pool early Sunday morning in Big Lake Township, Minn.

Around 3:45 a.m. officers were called to a home at 17100 block of 182nd Avenue on a report that a man was found underwater in an in-ground swimming pool.

Officers and an ambulance arrived at the home and tried to perform CPR, but the man, Riley Karn, was dead at the scene.

A Criminal Investigative Unit was called, but no foul play is suspected. The death remains under investigation however.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will complete an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Karn was 26 years old and from Monticello, Minn.
