Police Look For Man Who Robbed Bank In Polk Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Cushing, Wis. on Saturday.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office said that a masked gunman walked into the US Bank around 10 a.m.

He showed the gun to a bank teller, threatened bank employees and helped himself to the teller's drawers. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a white, adult male. He was average height and had a thin build. They think he left the area in a red Chevrolet, possibly GMC, full-sized pickup truck. The pickup truck is described as having some rust and it may also have a silver stripe or silver trim on the side. Police also believe the model year may be from the mid-90s.

There were no customers in the bank at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Polk County Sheriff at 715-485-8300.

Police said a reward is available for any information that helps them solve the crime.
