Police Looking For Suspect In TCF Bank Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Police are looking for a suspect involved in the robbery of a TCF bank in south Minneapolis Tuesday morning.

The Minneapolis FBI said that at about 9:30 a.m., the TCF Bank branch located inside the Cub Foods on the 2800 block of 26th Avenue South was robbed by a lone man.

The suspect approached a teller and made a verbal demand for money, authorities said. The teller complied and the robber left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Police said the robber did not display a weapon and nobody was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 30 years old and appeared to have blotches on his face. He wore a dark colored jacket, jeans and a Dallas Cowboys baseball hat. He is believed to be about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds.
