Bloomington Police Dept. Honors Officers For Bravery

BLOOMINGTON (WCCO) — The Bloomington Police Department held a special ceremony for those who went above and beyond to protect their neighbors.

Among those honored were eight officers who responded to a large apartment fire in February, catching kids as they were thrown from windows.

James Glover received the Citizen Medal of Valor. He used his Hummer to stop an erratic car from plowing into the crowd at the Race for the Cure on Mother’s Day.

Police are always so quick to pin a medal on their puffed-up chests just for doin their job. Have another Donut Sarge!

If you are the John Laux that grew up in Le Sueur, you always were an idiot. Guess you haven’t changed in all these years. Grow up, get a life and then maybe you won’t be so jealous of people you don’t even know.

      1. Tyrone Laux says:

I’m JL from LeSueur yep! I used to poke your Mom with a few of the Brothas from Mpls when they passed thru town. Tell your Dad congratulations on his “coming out”

    2. Laux = Loser says:

You sound like someone who is bitter because you couldn’t pass the test to be a police officer. Does it bother you when soldiers get medals pinned on their chest for bravery too? Get one too many tickets and blame the police instead of yourself? What a loser. If you were at that fire you probably would’ve stood there pissing your pants while everybody else worked. Grow up jerk.

It just amazes me how people can be so rude and self-absorbed today. Is it so terrible to recognize the heroism and courage that others have and congratulate them for their service? Being a police officer is not all about giving out speeding tickets and eating donuts. It is much bigger than that, and if you think it is such an easy, stress-free, job, then maybe you should try it yourself.
