'Purple Rain,' 'Fargo' To Play At Walker
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Walker Art Center is celebrating movies made in Minnesota next month.
The Walker and the Minnesota Film and TV Board present "Location: MN" the weekend of July 14-17.
Prince's "Purple Rain," the Coen brothers' "Fargo" and Kevin Smith's "Mallrats" are among the films being showcased.
Other Minnesota-made films featured that weekend include Ali Selim's "Sweet Land," David Burton Morris' "Purple Haze" and Sam Raimi's "A Simple Plan."
