Weather Blog: Three In A Row
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Fourth of July marked the third consecutive day of sunshine and summery temperatures.
In the Twin Cities, we topped out at 85 on Saturday, 86 on Sunday and 90 on Monday.
The timing of this enjoyable weather was great for those of us who wanted to play outdoors this holiday weekend.
Strong thunderstorms developed over northwestern Minnesota late Monday afternoon, and are expected to spread southeastward Monday night into Tuesday.
We should see some showers and thunderstorms at times on Tuesday, then plenty of sun and less humid weather on Wednesday.
Hope you've had a great holiday weekend.
