Man Wearing Headphones Struck, Killed By Train

SAUK RAPIDS, Minn (WCCO) -- A man wearing headphones was struck and killed by a train in Sauk Rapids, Minn.

The incident happened just before noon Thursday near the 1800 block of North Benton Drive.

Police said the 47-year-old man was walking his dog along the tracks and listening to music in his headphones when he was struck by a southbound train.

The victim was not immediately identified, pending notification of family members.
