1 Dead After Small Plane Crashes In Goodhue County

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) — An ultra-light plane crashed early Saturday morning in Goodhue County, killing a man.

The Post-Bulletin reports the Lakeville man was the only person aboard when it went down at 3:38 a.m. Saturday in Cherry Grove Township, southwest of Wanamingo. He died at the scene.

The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Aviation Administration and others are investigating.
