INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. (AP) – Authorities are identifying the decomposed body of a man found near the Mississippi River in Inver Grove Heights last week.

The Dakota County sheriff’s office reports it is 51-year-old Larry Hill of Minneapolis. He was reported missing by family members to Minneapolis police on Nov. 6.

Dakota County Sheriff Dave Bellows says Monday that family members have identified Hill as a vulnerable adult who had several medical issues.

Investigators do not believe foul play was involved.

Investigators believe flood waters deposited the body in Inver Grove Heights before receding.
