MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Enjoy the cooler, drier air Wednesday because Mother Nature will open the oven door again by Friday.
Expect a partly cloudy Wednesday with highs stuck in the upper 70s (below average again).
Thursday will be the wet one with widespread showers and even the possibility of some thunderstorms. The big concern isn’t severe weather, rather the potential for heavy rain.
Friday we shoot up to the upper 80s with humid air spilling over the area.
By this weekend it will be hot and humid enough to make it feel like it is over 100 degrees outside. Expect highs in the mid-90s with dew points in the mid-70s.
Enjoy the heat of summer, but be careful.
