Mpls. Police Make Arrest For June Shooting Death

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police have made an arrest for a fatal shooting that happened in June.

Officers said Christopher Tarrell Clark was booked into the Hennepin County Jail on probable cause murder for a shooting death.

The incident happened on June 13 in the 2700 block of Humboldt Avenue North.

Police said they found two men shot that day. One was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was brought to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Darrell Montez Fischer, 22, was the one who died from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

Homicide investigators will present the case to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office for formal charges against 19-year-old Clark.
